Regional Lead - Human Resource - Life Insurance - East/South Region (5-15 yrs)

Our client is one of the leading and largest Life & Non Life Insurance player in India having its headquarters in Mumbai. They are looking for Regional Lead HR role.

Full time MBA in HR with 5-15 years of experience in Life or General Insurance Company.

Job Brief:

There are 2 positions

1. Regional Lead HR - East, based at Kolkata

2. Regional Lead HR - South, based at Bangalore

The Regional HR Head will be partnering with sales channels on driving the HR agenda on recruitment and will implement the strategic initiatives of business. He will be responsible for implementing recruitment strategies, take new initiatives and maintaining the fill rate as per business requirements, HRBP, L&D, PMS, Annual Increases, etc. Managing Team. This person looking after entire Region.

Key Dimensions of the role

Talent Acquisition

- To ensure implementation of recruitment strategy, that ensures hiring of quality and stable manpower resources within the stated timelines. To launch new initiatives to help in easy and cost effective sourcing; to analyze competitors & their activities

- Would be responsible for developing a cost effective manpower plan and also ensure an optimized utilization of resources for all functions.

- Constantly evaluate the effectiveness of overall compensation as also various incentive, R&R and retention plans and suggest modifications wherever necessary basis the best practices in the industry.

- Ensure proper coordination with internal and external stake holders

- No grievances from stake holders on TAT, quality, response & hiring support

- Periodic connect & coordination related to hiring and other HR support

- PMS

- Learning and Development, Training Needs Analysis.

- HR Business Partnering.

- Regularly coordinate on reporting related to recruitment, MIS, Trackers & Updates.

- Empanelment of new vendors.

- Develop team competencies for building efficiency.

- Development network / new channels to enable quality sourcing.

- Sourcing and hiring from low cost alternate options.

- Hire 5% of the overall hiring is delivered through network / self-sourcing efforts.

- Guiding and managing the overall attrition and ensure strategies for retention are implemented.

- Maintaining fill rate and man days for employees at sales channels.

- Ability to handle teams.
