Leadership role :
- Provide strong & involved leadership and ensure efficient & effective management of the staff and resources in the stated regions.
- Leading the Business Development Vertical by strategizing & improving growth for the said vertical, managing the resources, budgets, and focusing on targets, results and revenues.
Job Description :
- Consistently achieve the assigned revenue targets from designated partners through effective business strategies, business development & sales efforts.
- Building CSAT & strong relationships with Corporates, Brokers, Partners and related business entities.
- Strategize and implement plans to counter competition and increase revenues & market share.
- Develop and add new [channel] partners.
- Build and develop performing business development/sales teams across the Region.
- Strong leadership, delivery & result orientation.
- Network and relationship management.
- Good networking capabilities.
- Willing to travel extensively throughout the specified region & various other cities.
- Ability to work independently and achieve the assigned targets.
- Manage the targets, results, deliveries & performance of the regional sales & BD team.
- Ensure effective management of the branches & staff in the region, thus ensuring that people and branch performance is always fine-tuned, primed & optimal.
- Accountable to ensure that trends of underperformance are formally addressed, with clear and documented performance improvement plans.
- Ensure that the overall people plan of the area reflects high standards & career/succession planning, coupled with consistent mentoring and people development.
- Creating presentations on targets, impact measurement, goals and designated MIS's for the entire team for regular reviews with senior management.
- Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current and future growth and profitability. Disseminate information to regional & Head Office teams.
- Transition & ownership of special projects as assigned by the management.
- Working closely with the network expansion and operations teams at Head Office.
- Understand and administer the HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
Administrative duties :
- Provide continuous leadership, supervision, training and development to the department staff ensuring an effective and motivated team.
- Liaise with the HR department in conducting performance appraisals and ensure competency and training gaps are addressed including day to day people mgt. roles.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS :
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- Excellent relationship management, written, oral, communication and presentation skills necessary for interaction with the Corporates, Insurance Entities, Brokers and other Business entities.
- Good planning and organization skills.
- Familiarity with Excel, Power Point, Word and an ability and interest in learning on the job.
- Excellent skills in sales, marketing, budgeting, costing and revenue mgt.
