Job Description :

- The position leads the P&L for the south region for our clients with end to end responsibility of business continuity and growth as well as operational excellence.

- Southern Region is a key market for the clients and they are looking for a commercially driven individual to lead it.

- The client is a Multi-Country organisation in the Industry of Freight Forwarding Services.

Description :

The key responsibilities for this position are :

- Managing the P&L of the region with respect to Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala as states

- Managing the Branches within the region while taking direct reporting of the Branch Managers and allied teams

- Strategies for periodic growth and ensuring delivery on set targets and budgets

- Ensuring a good mix of Air Freight as well as Ocean Freight out of the region and building a balanced client portfolio

- Optimising costs and improving the bottom line of the business in the region

- Strategically leading the team and ensuring their growth and to have them aligned with the organisation vision and strategies

- The position can be based out of Chennai or Bangalore, wherever the candidate would prefer

Profile :

An ideal candidate will have :

- 15 years or more of experience in the Freight Forwarding industry, majorly in sales and commercially aligned roles

- Managed a P&L in the past and understanding of delivering on set budgets and targets

- Experience of excellent sales growth delivered in previous organisations and roles

- Experience of the South Indian market particular to the Freight Forwarding Industry and good understanding of it

- Experience of managing diverse teams and driving business outputs from them
