Regional Head - Revenue - Hospitality Startup - IIT/NIT/IIM/XLRI/FMS (3-6 yrs)

- Our client is India's best budget hotels chain. Already at 125+ locations across 15+ cities, the company is on track to be India's largest chain of modern, tech-driven hotels that deliver a standardized, consistent & value-for-money hotel stays to travelers across India.

- The company was born in a response to the need for reliable and value-for- money accommodation by travelers and now is being touted as a key player in the budget hospitality sector. It has received a whopping 8 million dollars in its first round of funding from some of the largest global venture capital firms.

- The company is founded by entrepreneurs who are veterans in the world of start-ups and have previously been involved in establishing a leading online ecommerce brand which was recently acquired by a major Indian conglomerate. The founders are alumnus from the Wharton Business School and IIT (Guwahati), they have already left their competitor hotel chains behind this financial year and are on track to become the leading budget hotel chains in India.

- As the Regional Head - Revenue, you will be responsible for determining the optimal mix of business and managing distribution strategies on all channels to increase revenue and drive market share

Key Responsibilities:

- Driving market share and revenue performance through proper pricing, inventory controls and mix management

- Developing overall pricing strategy to include all market segments and distribution channels

- Providing guidance on corporate transient negotiated account pricing

- Effectively managing inventory and pricing strategy on all distribution channels including Branded Web, 3rd Party Sites (OTAs) etc.

- Interpreting business analytics into meaningful action to improve performance

- Driver of total revenue management business analytics and opportunities

- Partnering with operations to implement new initiatives and measuring results

- Taking ownership of merchandising strategies and liasioning regularly with corporate marketing, agencies and vendors on campaign management opportunities

- Closely monitoring competitive pricing and understanding the impact of relative pricing decisions on the company's performance

- Compiling a weekly analysis report to analyze key drivers of market share performance and understanding overall effectiveness of strategies

- Responsible for effective implementation and compliance with the company's Revenue Management Standards

- Pro-actively heading the quarterly/annual corporate performance analysis to ensure accounts are on target and pricing for next year is based on rational and value propositions

- Networking with industry representatives to understand market conditions better and learn what's out there

Candidate Profile:

- B.Tech/MBA from Tier 1 College preferred

- Demonstrable experience of 3-6 years in strategy related role/Consulting/Analytics along with P&L management

- Track record of leading a category and meeting challenging targets

- Strong skills in ROI optimisation, advanced analytics etc.

- Working knowledge of R/ Python is a great plus

- Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines

- Organized, creative and critical thinker

- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment

- Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel/ VBA techniques

- Excellent Communication Skills

- Flexible for 6 days a week working structure (Twice in a month)
