Regional Head - Insurance (12-15 yrs)
- Ensure all assets and exposures are adequately covered, with any exceptions identified and approved by management.
- Validate and update policy limits to ensure sufficient sum insured.
- Ensure all insurance coverage is supported by valid policies from the beginning.
- Establish appropriate policy protections with comprehensive wordings and clauses to safeguard the company's assets and interests.
- Collaborate with business teams to finalize insurance term sheets, including values, coverage types, and start and end dates.
- Analyze domestic and international markets to facilitate the selection of the best insurance policies in terms of coverage and pricing.
- Negotiate with insurance companies to obtain competitive quotations and optimal coverage scope for the organization.
- Scrutinize insurance policies for deviations and initiate refinements when necessary.
- Lead interactions with internal stakeholders and partners to resolve identified issues promptly.
- Prepare management review MIS reports, highlighting areas of concern and monitoring insurance costs for optimal expenditure.
- Ensure timely settlement of all claims.
- Manage regional and global insurance programs for assets, business interruption, and liability.
- Specifically handle policy administration, claims, and risk management.
- Solid understanding and experience in Assets, liabilities, and marine insurance is a plus.
- Multi regional or global experience is a plus.
- Expert knowledge of insurance products and markets in GCC/MENA/Asia/Europe or other comparable international markets.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with SAP/Enterprise systems is advantageous.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Key Attributes :
- 12-15 years of relevant work experience.
- Qualifications: ACII/AIII certification in Insurance, graduation/post-graduation in Management /Engineering or relevant.
