1. BASIC ROLE INFORMATION :
- Function / Department / Vertical: Sales
- Years of Experience: 15-20 Years
- Management Level : VP
- Accountable to (position) : Head - Institutional Sales
- Educational Qualifications: MBA or any equivalent degree
- Total number of employees supervised: 2-3 people
2. RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS :
- Develop relationships and manage the existing ones with Institutions for investments in various
- Be the primary client contact and trusted investment advisor
- Deepen existing client relationships by providing appropriate investment advice and solutions
- Acquire new clients through market intelligence & engagements
- Drive sales of AMC's products to suitable client portfolios
- Share market updates and house views to clients on a timely basis
- Update clients on their investments and its performance
- Recognize changes in client's / market environment which may present opportunities
- Enhance client experience through strong relationship management
- Lead new business meetings and close sales to institutional investors and consultants
3. CORE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
- Well versed with current affairs - Debt & Equity Markets
- Knowledge of all Mutual Fund compliances
- Knowledge & understanding of Mutual Fund Industry
4. PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS :
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Maintain good relations across Departments for devising ways to provide value added services to the Clients
- Good Analytics Skills
- People Management
- Displays ability to think out of the Solution provider.
