Hiring: Branch Head for leading General Insurance Broking Firm

Job Purpose :

Overall responsible for the development of General Insurance Broking Business in the State to take care of the Overall Growth Strategy adopted by the company.

Job Context :

- Acquisitions & Business Development. Heading the Business Development Team. Leading operational activities for the entire State. Developing new business ideas for the growth and development of the organization

Key Responsibilities :

Managerial Responsibilities :

- Recruitment of team members, Day-to-day Office Administration

- Business Development, Strategic Planning & Implementation

- Handling sales and back office operation team, Compliance etc.

Functional Responsibilities :

- Meetings with the existing as well as with the prospective client for retention of existing business development of new business to achieve the desired growth.

- Giving Corporate Presentations and Product Presentations as per the requirement of the client or as per their interest.

- Accompany with the sales team for their introductory meetings with any new clients.

- Review the existing insurance portfolio of the client and provide feedback to our underwriting and technical team for preparations of our Audit Report for presenting to the client.

- Helping and assisting the underwriting team to design innovative/new policy coverage for best use of the sales team.

- Preparing underwriting quote slips for any large/critical risks with the help of the local and H.O. Underwriter

- Accompany with the Risk Engender during their risk inspection of any plant of any existing/new client to make a better relationship with the plant people at client side.

- Trying to Attend as much as possible the Insurance seminars conducted by the insurance companies or any other organizations to keep update about the insurance market.

Job Requirement :

Qualifications: Graduate or MBA

Experience: Total Work experience of 15 year and above.

Functional Competencies :

- Resourceful in evolving & implementing operational policies, maintaining healthy customer relations, handling customer grievances thus creating an amicable & transparent environment.

- Significant experience in identifying prospective clients and market potential for the business.

- Acquired knowledge of new methods, technology & industry trends while undertaking projects.

- Proficient in grasping new technical concepts quickly and utilizing them in an effective manner.

- An effective communicator with strong relationship management skills.

- A proactive learner with a flair for adopting emerging trends & addressing industry requirements to achieve organizational objectives & profitability norms.

- A self-motivated team player with strong communication, relationship management and problem-solving skills.

- An analytical mind with the ability to think clearly and logically.

Key Interactions :

- Head of Sales & Affinity and Corporate Head: Regular interactions through phone or by e-mail for periodical review of the performance, discussing strategy for acquiring new clients and avenue of new businesses. Asking for any type of help as and when require for acquiring any new client or business or to come out from any contingencies arises out of the normal business operations.

- H.O. Underwriters (EB & Non-EB): Interactions through system entries, e-mails or telephonically for any help require from H.O. underwriting team as and when the situation arises.

COO/Compliance: Regular Interactions through system entries, e-mails or telephonically for day-to-day business booking done at our branch and giving compliance to the requirement as per the guidelines of the Regulator.

Sales Team Reporting under Regular direct meeting and interactions with the Sales Team to review their activities, efforts and performance. Providing leads and database to them for maturing more new clients in favour of EIBL. Providing technical support to the sales team to mature new client and for cross-selling of new products among their existing client to earn more revenue.

Operational Team Reporting under Regular direct meeting and interactions with the Operational Team to review their activities, efforts and performance resulting into better sales support activities for the Sales Team and effective after sales services to the existing and new clients up to their fullest satisfaction

Clients: Personal visits to the existing as well as to the prospective clients as much as possible for showing our visibility towards the client. Sending e-mails regularly to the client containing Insurance news and Industry updates and other matters of their interest.

Insurance Companies: Regular person visits, telephonic conversations and e-mail interactions with the insurance company for any business, underwriting or claims matter.

Surveyors/TPA: Need base interactions with the Surveyors/TPA for resolving any matter escalated related to claims.
