Regional Head - Buying & Merchandising - FMCG Category - eCommerce (10-22 yrs)

At present, We per having an urgent opening for REGIONAL HEAD - BUYING & MERCHANDISING for REPUTED ECOMMERCE Co based at NOIDA / GURGAON location.

Base Job Location - NORTH INDIA

POSITION - REGIONAL HEAD, BUYING & MERCHANDISING

LOCATION - NOIDA / GURGAON

AREA OF OPERATIONS - DELHI & GURGAON / LUCKNOW / KANPUR / JAIPUR

TEAM - 6 ON ROLL (Buyers, AM / Manager) + 20 INDIRECT

As a Regional Head, Buying & Merchandising the incumbent will be responsible for entire P&L and will Handle FMCG Food, FMCG Non-Food, Staples, General Merchandise, Fruits & Vegetables, food & beverage portfolio with a business volume of 70cr+

Key Deliverables:

- Ensures availability of products of desired quality and price to ensure the profitability of categories is delivered.

- Forecasting buying and sales for the month and planning to achieve sales number.

- To contribute to the development of the divisional Buying and Merchandising strategy and to work within this strategy at all times.

- To contribute to the development of SKU level plans of Food/Non-food/Grocery and Perishables to maintain the library of SKU level sales trends.

- To work with the National Category Head/Category Manager/Buyers to track progress against the agreed critical path for each option.

- Handling the Team of Regional Buyers for Food/Non-food/Grocery and Perishables.

- To be responsible for stock levels of all Food/Non-food/ grocery and Perishables Categories.

- Working towards right buying mix to gain more margin

- Working towards sales development and penetration of PL.

- To be responsible for Top seller SKU availability/overall availability/loss of sales By liaison with, and through influencing suppliers, to progress the availability of products in line with agreed dates and to ensure that intake is re-phased in line with changes to requirements and negotiate with vendor regional/national team to take good offers to uplifts the Top line.

- To monitor and analysis weekly sales, stock and intake within a department and to ensure that future projections are in line with stock availability.

- To ensure that the SKU stock matches its selling ratio and size balancing takes place for repeat buys and flow lines.

- To co-ordinate and monitor all promotions in synchronization with operations.

- Implementing sales promotion plans & new concepts to generate sales for achievement of targets; coordinating the promotional activities for new releases & special products.

- Produce a regular report of Supplier availability performance, including details of action taken to date, and implement ways of improving poor performers.

- To act as a link with Category Managers/National category Head at Service Office and Operations.

- To ensure that the B&M Head are promptly informed of all issues concerning departmental performance to Top management.

- To understand the interests of both internal and external customers at all times and to act in their interests at all times.

- As a key member of the team to contribute to, and fully participate in, all regular reviews and presentations.

- To Help the Marketing team for generating other income through Vendors.

- To contribute to the development of sourcing processes and best practices.

- To ensure that the agreed personal development plans is achieved.

- To be responsible for institutional business for category to increase the Top line and negotiated with vendors for local support which maintain category bottom lines.

- To analyze benchmarking report on weekly basis and ensure pricing match with competitor.

- Also Look after Inventory and supply chain management with the co-ordination of Operation team and Inventory team.

- Handle vendor negotiation and terms of trade (TOT) with Local and regional Brand
