Regional Head - Business Development - BFS (10-12 yrs)

Business Development :

- Drive sales strategy for the region including estimating available wallet, developing a target list of corporates, maximising new to platform relationships, platform throughputs & revenues

- Oversee & ensure timely seller on boarding for identified corporate buyers so time to transacting is minimised

- Manage/host participant events, roadshows to disseminate awareness on product

- Mentor & coach team members on subject matter, sales, documentation. Proactively manage performance

- Channel development

- Ensure regulatory & internal policy compliance at all times

Market Intelligence :

- Identify growth prospects in the market

- Track competition

Knowledge Management :

- Sound understanding of supply chain finance, trade finance, corporate financial profile

- Awareness of potential transactional/counterparty risks

Candidate Profile :

- Qualification MBA in Marketing/ Finance, CA (having similar experience)

Previous Experience :

- 10 to 12 year experience in business development, preferably in financial services

- Strong trade finance domain knowledge preferred

- Team management

- Good client access

Personal Attributes / Skills :

- High performance track record

- Entrepreneurial

- Ability to develop relationships

- Strong communication skills

- Should display high levels of initiative, energy & resourcefulness
