Role - Regional Head / Area Head - West - Sales & Merchant Acquisition (Digital Wallet)

Location - Mumbai

Responsibilities :

- Hire, train, motivate and run a sales and relationship team (combination of FoS and call center) who will be responsible for Signing up retailers for the app market coverage

- Generating initial orders from retailers till they get comfortable with using it on their own

- Transitioning to call center / relationship team once B above achieved

- Come up with the right mix of outsourced vs inhouse sales people (who can be moved on to other geographies once coverage of one geography is achieved).

- This role is a national role, so need someone who can be responsible for productivity but also have the ability to scale up and run this nationally

- This person will also need to work closely with the Product management team to be able to guide them on what aspects of the front end product can be improved using technology to improve retailer stickiness and use.

Must Have :

- Entrepreneurial ability

- Good people's person with ability to create team and motivate juniors

- Focus on outcomes

- Ability to think about retailer needs and work with product management team

- Successful experience of sales of difficult to sell product / service to retailers

- Ability to scale up in the role

Preferred Candidate :

- MBA / PF in Sales & Marketing with 8+ years experience into Retail Sales & Building Distribution

- Prefer Candidates who have built Distribution Network with Retail Outlets for Push Products / unbranded products
