Regional Director - Human Resource - IT (12-16 yrs)

We are Looking for Regional Director HR for our Client to be based at Chennai for US Base company setting of operation in India.

Summary of Role

A multi-faceted role requiring the individual to manage multiple departments including strategic HR, Recruitment, operations and Internal people-related strategy management. The candidate must have a passion for HR as both a support function and a business enabler and should have exposure to building a solid foundation in strategic and operation HR areas.

The Regional Director will partner with the Talent Leadership Team in providing local management of functional staff and successfully administer corporate Talent projects, processes and initiatives while maintaining required regional differences. The Regional Director, Talent will liaison with the Country/Region manager to ensure localized business directives related to Talent are achieved.

This includes being responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in organizational business units. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. Communicating needs proactively with the Talent Leadership Team and regional business management and seeks to develop integrated solutions. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage local HR function and advice to employees & leaders on all areas of human capital management.

- Has the ability to drive change and organizational effectiveness by partnering with Global leadership in organization design, workforce planning, and location strategy, leadership coaching, change management, key talent retention and team development, as needed

- Overseeing the implementation of Human Resources programs through Human Resources staff. Monitors administration to established standards and procedures. Identifies opportunities for improvement and resolves any discrepancies

- In partnership with global team, design and implement a robust talent review and process, including succession planning, leadership development, and organization capability for India team

- Enhancing Employee Engagement & Communication

- Liaising with various teams/departments to create processes for improving operational efficiency

- Participating in HR projects, including global HR initiatives.

- Overseeing the on-boarding and off-boarding program

- Ensuring Organization's strategy, values and business behavior are spread through the Company, and well communicated

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in human resources or related field.

- Proven experience working with globally dispersed teams; those headquartered in the US

- 12+ years of experience in the HR field, at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role

- Demonstrated success in partnering with senior-level business management. Experience designing, developing and supporting organization-wide talent programs that cover recruitment, performance management, talent development, coaching, succession planning, data analytics, and relationship management.
