Role & Responsibilities:
1. Achieving Collections Targets:
- Formulate and execute strategies to ensure timely achievement of collections targets.
- Monitor performance indicators and adjust strategies as necessary to meet goals.
2. Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and manage the collections team to enhance effectiveness in collections and recovery efforts.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to the team.
3. Monitoring and Review:
- Monitor and review the activities of regional collections teams to ensure they are on track to achieve targets.
- feedback and guidance to improve performance where necessary.
4. Adherence to Collection Processes:
- Ensure strict adherence to collection processes within the region, including system allocation, tracking, and monitoring of delayed cash deposition.
- Identify and report fraudulent practices to safeguard the interests of the organization.
5. Strategy Implementation:
- Implement collection strategies at the regional level to optimize collections and recover outstanding loans efficiently.
- Adapt strategies based on regional nuances and performance metrics.
6. Payout Authorization and Policy Implementation:
- Authorize payouts and oversee the rollout of collection payout structure policies.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to collections payouts.
7. Process Adherence and Corrective Actions:
- Monitor the collection process closely and take proactive measures against any deviations or errors.
- Initiate corrective actions and, if necessary, discontinue agencies or agents based on performance benchmarks.
8. Collaboration and Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate closely with regional sales and credit teams to ensure quality sourcing of loans.
- Identify potential risks or trouble spots and implement targeted collection-related programs to address them.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in collections management or a similar role within the financial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of collection strategies, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with a track record of achieving targets.
