Duties and responsibilities for Regional CFO - (India &amp; Middle East) : As part of an executive management team, the CFO will have interaction with various members of a company, both senior and junior. CFO job description should include : - Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team - Providing strategic recommendations to the Regional President/COO and members of the executive management team - Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting - Advising on long-term business and financial planning - Assess the benefits of all prospective contracts and advise the Executive Team on programmatic design and implementation matters. - Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders - Provide the COO with an operating budget. - Work with the COO to ensure programmatic success through cost analysis support, and compliance with all contractual and programmatic requirements.&nbsp; This includes :&nbsp; 1) Interpreting legislative and programmatic rules and regulations to ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and contractual guidelines,&nbsp; 2) Ensuring that all government regulations and requirements are disseminated to appropriate personnel, and&nbsp; 3) Monitoring compliance. - Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the organization and oversee federal awards and programs.&nbsp; - Oversee the coordination and activities of independent auditors ensuring all A-133 audit issues are resolved, and all 403(b) compliance issues are met, and the preparation of the annual financial statements is in accordance with U.S. GAAP and federal, state and other required supplementary schedules and information. - Ensure adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is approved and available such that all purchases may pass independent and governmental audits. - Monitor banking activities of the organization and Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs. - Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and ensure a disaster recovery plan is in place. - Oversee business insurance plans and health care coverage analysis. - Oversee the maintenance of the inventory of all fixed assets, including assets purchased with government funds (computers, etc.) assuring all are in accordance with federal regulations. - Reviewing all formal finance and IT related procedures CFO Job Qualifications and Experience requirements : - Position required high level of experience is expected for anyone applying for this role. - Candidate must be qualified with CA or CPA or ICWA is expected for this role: - The Controller or Chief Financial Officer level - Total 18 to 20 years plus of experience, - Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in top 4 auditing firms. - Plus, additional 10 years of experience in Manufacturing, trading and shared service experience. - Candidate should have the experience of handling the shared service finance team. - Candidate with mergers and acquisition experience will be added advantage - Must be capable of managing a team and candidate must display a cohesive ability of interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written professionally. - Must be able to engage with staff at all levels of the organisation and exercise sound judgement. - This position will be based in Bangalore, India.
