Regional Business Manager - USA (Established Funded Startup in Automation)


The Regional Business Manager is responsible for directly working with both Region CEOs as well as his/her Sales and Solutions team to ensure the region's growth plans are on target. The manager's success is in liasoning with regional employees, regional partners and HQ teams to help enable the direct sales team and partners. The manager is a fast learner, gains expertise in all areas of Customer lifecycle and supports the regional team from Pre-Sales to Project implementation to Customer Support activities.

This position is specifically for a Regional Business Manager who supports North America as a region while based out of India office. S/he works with the broader technical, product and delivery teams in India to help drive the business in the US. As a Business manager, you prioritise the needs of North America, and influence the stakeholders in HQ to support the region succeed.

Responsibilities:

Pre-sales responsibilities (60% of the overall job responsibility)

- Be a regional Product Marketing Manager and work with US direct sales and partner sales to enable them progress on sales opportunities, and support on Pre-Sales solutions and Product-related knowledge

- Help the sales team understand customer's business operations and ensure our solutions match their success criteria

- Work closely with Solution Architect, Product Management and Technology groups located in India to facilitate right solutions for the region

- Help run Solutioning and Simulation tools

- Demonstrate use cases, demo- s, solution write-ups, and specific features of the solution to customers

- Support the region team in identifying and resolving specific needs such as Product differentiation, Regional compliances, and relevant success stories

Post-sales responsibilities (40% of the overall job responsibility)

- Be responsible for Customer Delight in the region, and work with the operations team in HQ to deliver the same

- Act as an escalation point, and review Project Management artifacts including Statement of Work (SOW), project plan, project status report, action items, project change control, and project closure document with focus on US geography.

- Work closely with multiple teams to support the US Project teams deliver on timelines, features, quality, production and installation details.

- Ensure that project risks are identified, communicated and mitigated for successful project delivery

- Ensure customer delight by working with Deployment and Site support teams, thus enabling repeat business opportunities

Requirements:

- Engineering Graduate with overall 5+ years of experience post qualification

- 5+ years of US Product Marketing or Project Management experience (remotely or onsite) is a must

- Cultural understanding and expectation management of US customers

- Good technical skills, preferably worked with ERP systems and/or complex software and hardware solutions

- Strong business/financial acumen, excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

- Ability to interact with cross-functional and international teams

- Strong communication, execution, quantitative skills combined with creativity and negotiation abilities
