Regional Business Head - Agri (8-15 yrs)
- We are currently retained by a leading agri company in the country to hire their Regional Business head for the Tamil Nadu region. This company is a well established player in the Seeds business.
- This is a key role to lead the business for Tamil Nadu region for the company. The person will own the budget and drive and manage all sales for the region.
- This role which would require extensive travel and is based out of Trichy (non-negotiable).
- To fit the bill: You must have 8+ years of experience in agri input industry with B.Sc. (Agriculture) MBA/PGDM (Agri-Business preferred) from a top B school.
Key responsibilities :
- To build and manage the sales and promotional annual budget and meeting the financial goals to meet the regional sales volumes.
- To actively participate in developing territory wise market analysis and propose action plans.
- Ensuring that the sales promotion plan of action is implemented effectively
- Build effective relationship with all channel partners.
- Responsible to review the profitability of a particular region and take necessary course of action in case of any discrepancies.
Required traits :
- 8-15 years of experience of working in Agri input industry.
- Strong experience of running sales team for a leading Agri company.
- People Management skills.
- Effective Communication skills.
- Good Coordination skills.
- Ability to travel extensively.
- Experience in Stakeholder Management.
- Experience in Customer Service.
