Regional Business Development Role - Logistis (4-10 yrs)
- This role will be responsible to develop existing contract logistics business (Transportation and Warehousing) within India. This position represents the primary contact within India with regard to Contract logistics business.
- Meet & exceed personal and country/regional new business revenue goals.
- Develop strong opportunity pipeline for sales opportunities. Work on RFI/RFQ/RFP written responses.
- Build relationships with key contacts within customer organization to understand opportunities for contract logistics (Transportation and Warehousing) to create value.
- Marshall the resources within the organization to capitalize on value creation opportunities. work closely with his team to develop creative solutions to customer needs.
- Organize regular meetings with the clients & relevant operation staff to report on performance & receive an update from client on challenges and future plans Develop and implement plans for major accounts.
- Drive proactive suggestions for continuous improvement.
- Maintain close communication with customer & operations team to assure uniform understanding of customer expectations relative to operational solutions, timeline, costs and results.
