Job Description / Responsibilities: - Establish procurement strategies for acquisition of materials. Receiving and tracking of project materials that optimize quality, cost, and timely delivery. - Sending RFP & Follow up for timely submission of quotes ( Cables, panels, Aux transformers, battery chargers, transformers, UPS, control cables, etc.) - Development of Vendor evaluation, grading and engagement strategy to create pre-qualified vendors for equipment and services relating to construction of Solar Power Plants - Build on existing vendor relationships, Cost-optimization- Overall responsibility for timely, cost effective acquisition of high-quality materials and services to meet project quality and budget requirements. - Procurement Manager is responsible for planning &amp; procurement of components used in a Solar power projects. - To support project execution team by identifying right vendor, negotiation price and commercial terms, delivering material and services as per the project schedule on time. - Timely procurement of material and services for projects. - Procurement within stipulated budget without cost overrun, Preparing comparative statement - On time delivery of material and services at sites - Addressing techno-commercial issues during execution - Professional networking with supplier and partners - Interact with the project planning &amp; execution, design and engineering, QA and F&amp;A within the company. - Interact with suppliers, contractors, transporters, and service providers etc. Desired Profile: - BE or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical with 5 to 10 yrs of procurement experience of which min 3 yrs experience in Solar Industry. - Excellent communication in Hindi and English is must. - Awareness of the suppliers and price trends in solar market - Excellent Negotiation skills - Awareness of commercial terms and conditions of supply purchase order and service order. - Experience in doing costing of a project with respect to BOM - Must have direct experience with procurement of equipment and services for Solar Power Plant projects.
