The ideal candidate should have good experience in Quality & EHS from the Solar Industry. Should have managed multiple sites. Job Description - Identify &amp; implement the key performance indicators for tracking EHS performance and Report the performance of EHS to the management. - Setup a system for EHS governance and conduct periodic reviews with all sites. - Develop, implement and run comprehensive EHS audit programs in partnership with Sites, Conduct EHS audits, inspections, meetings and ensure compliance to agreed actions. - Participate for successful completion of customer and statutory audits. - Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis and implement controls to prevent a recurrence - Work with IH OH and Environmental SMEs to define and run programs around related to Occ. Health and environmental risk mitigation. - Provide leadership and guidance to sites for the Environmental Affairs, Design for Safety &amp; Environment including people, data, budgetary responsibilities, and future requirements for expansions. - Create and maintain program management systems to ensure that various Safety and Environmental Health certifications, accreditations, and compliance efforts are developed and continuously improved. - Develop programs to sensitize employees towards EHS aspects, improve their EHS risk perception and mitigation for establishing a true EHS culture. - Develop EHS Competency &amp; TNI Matrix, standardize EHS e-learning and training modules, impart training as needed. - To ensure the Safety aspects of the plant and environment (including man, material &amp; equipments) - To conduct Internal &amp; External safety Audits for the Hazards identification &amp; risk assessment. - Responsible for developing &amp; Implementation of systems for EHS Management as per ISO-14001 &amp; OHSAS 18001 Standards. - To ensure Hazards identification through daily &amp; periodical SAFETY COMMITTEE audits &amp; reviewing and devising corrective measures for effective control. Desired Profile - B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. MBA in Environment and Sustainability (preferred) - Candidates from the solar industry Preferred. - Need to have an excellent understanding of the Solar industry, solar projects, site management. - Should have sound knowledge and understanding of EHS regulations in India, global best practices in asset protection, waste management including working of ETP and waste management facilities, remediation, pollution control including the equipment/ infrastructure involved. - Leadership traits, Excellent presentation, organization and communication skills - Ability to establish and maintain key relationships with external and internal business stakeholders. - Demonstrate EHS leadership in speech, decisions and actions by 'walking the talk'
