This role would be responsible for supporting the India IFCN business in driving effective Medical Marketing initiatives, in order to effectively engage Healthcare Professionals within the available compliance framework.


Achievement of Brand Sales & Product Contribution for Infant portfolio (Routine + Specialty)

- Deliver 100% forecast accuracy on Infant NR (Routine + Specialty) portfolio, at budgeted GM and A&P spend

- Develop and execute effective, differentiated and relevant medical marketing initiatives so as to position IFCN as global leader in Infant and Child nutrition

- Identify and execute KOL participation in flagship international events on Pediatric Nutrition, neonatology

- Organize and execute International Speaker Programs for solutions and specialty education and awareness among HCPs

- Develop academic programs for continuous education of HCPs on Pediatric Nutrition

- Drive and support regional level CMEs for consistent HCP engagement

- Manage third party agencies to obtain favorable business outcomes and hold them accountable for delivering vs. commitments

- Build advocacy for Solutions and Specialty products, working together with affiliated entities

Capability building

- Identify and evaluate HCP & consumer needs and market trends, and analyze current business activities through all possible sources of data and recommend business opportunities at strategic and tactical levels.

- Strengthen Organization in support of Business Conduct, Compliance and Control initiative. Review Dashboard on monthly basis, maintain an Institution, HCP wise log

- Drive HCP Interactions Policy to ensure 100% adherence

- Understand competitor strategies and anticipate competitive response in India.

- Support in training & development of the medical detailing team for effective communication of brand message in market

Execute Key Innovation Projects

- Work with CDO to ideate, develop and launch Routine and Specialty products in line with IFCN India strategy

- Develop business case for new product / line extensions

- Liaise with key stakeholders across different functions for project planning & execution

- Track & monitor the execution plan post launch


- Educational Qualification: B. Pharm or equivalent or MBBS

- At least 10 years of Pharma or Nutraceutical sales and marketing experience at organization of repute; responsible for brands or multiple products; demonstrated experience in strategic planning, annual planning, product development, packaging, promotion, positioning, pricing and market research

- Candidates with over 4 years of clinical practice in Pediatrics will be preferred

- Demonstrated understanding of HCP and consumer needs and market trends.

- Experience with A&P budgeting, sales forecasting and P&L analysis

- Demonstrated ability to independently lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, multi-task and diverse environment; Independently managed projects from conception to completion

- Has demonstrated ability to develop & execute effective Medical Marketing initiatives

- Knowledge of infant and children formula market and competitors

- Knowledge of financial principles and how to manage budgets

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of HCPs & consumers behaviors and needs coupled with an understanding of the HCP influence on the behavior of the consumers in the area of nutrition is essential.

- Possess an assertive and enthusiastic personality including strong leadership qualities with minimum supervision. Multi-tasking skills are essential

- Effective Project management skills to execute multiple projects simultaneously

- Ability to perform numerous tasks under pressure with equanimity

- Strong bias for action and decision making

- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence and communicate with high level executives

- Strong negotiation, presentation and collaborative skills

- Demonstrates openness to new ideas, and creative/innovative solutions

- Extensive experience working effectively on cross-functional teams

- Understanding and experience in using computer software and systems application

- Strong command over written & spoken English
