Job Title: HR Business Partner - Global IS Reports to: HR Director- Finance & IS Location: Hyderabad, India 2010-2013 - premier B schools only 5-8 years exp SUMMARY : - The HR Business Partner, will drive the HR Agenda for IS Global based in Hyderabad and place high focus on delivering people KPIs with Leadership team. S/he will partner with leadership team of the above and work alongside corporate HR team to drive Key HR processes supporting business agenda. SCOPE / DIMENSIONS OF ROLE : - The role holder will Business partner with leadership team; acting as their trusted advisor, expert on people matters and importantly acting as employee champion balancing the needs of employee and business. S/he will be single point of contact for all HR related initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITY : The role would cover following areas : 1. Engagement & Connect : - Drive with Leadership Team the Engagement & Connect Agenda for the Regions. Define Engagement & Connect Calendar as per the needs & corporate initiatives. - Champion with leadership teams culture of connect & coaching for their teams and help first time Managers address HR queries on time. 2. Talent Density & Performance : - Work with leadership team and to continuously assess, fix and plan Talent density at managers and non managers in the functions. Ensure right metrics are defined and used to identify top talent. - Ensure robust succession and development plans are identified for top talent. Work with Managers to identify themes of development from the discussions and work on a plan to enable continuous performance. - Work with leadership team to assess performance at the end of the year and recommend ratings for talent for the region. 3. Talent Assessment & Succession Planning : - Drive with leadership team the Talent Assessment & Calibrations feedback/roll-up for all Managers. Ensure movements are planned well on time for talent and right talent Mix is maintained 4. Hiring & On-boarding : - Lead Talent Acquisition for the function by achieving Hiring KPIs measured by Source of, Quality of & TAT to HIRE. Work with other business partners to empanel right sourcing partners, identify improvements in the process and support first time managers to recruit right. - Define and implement 90 days on-boarding plan for all new hires, movements and promotions within the Region. 5. Capability: Drive Capability Initiatives for your functions (functional) by helping identify the needs & gaps, tracking completion, participation & effectiveness. PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE : - MBA in Human Resources from Premium B School (XLRI, TISS, SCMHRD, SIBM, MDI) - 3-6 years experience in human resources, in a reputed organization.
