About Savor and need for the role:- While the company has entered in the phase of next level growth by scaling up brands via third party aggregates primarily, we realize that owing the customer directly is of key strategic importance to us. In that regard, we want to now build a powerful channel - Savor - that solves real customer pain points/ unmet needs in the discount-cluttered food-tech market. Medium-term (2-3 year) vision is to grow the channel to 25% of the company's revenue. We have already begun this journey by testing different business models for Savor through micro-market pilots in different cities, with the objective to achieve the product-market fit. Keeping all our learning in view, we are now preparing for a pilot in Mumbai to test a new business model based on regional, ethnic cuisine proposition. Pilot will entail launching the Savor app with 10-12 cuisines (7-8 Indian, 3-4 International) comprising ~150 dishes in Powai/ Chandivali area by 15th June 2020. Operations will be scaled to a large number of existing kitchens starting late this year and early next year. CIC, SCM, and Ops team are already aligned on the overall approach and work has started on menu development, kitchen finalization (a new dedicated kitchen is being set up) and team hiring/ onboarding (chefs, functional SPOCs, etc.). This initiative is driven by strong cross-functional coordination and review mechanisms (fortnightly review and alignment sessions with line Execoms). In that regard, we are now looking for an operations leader who will a) ensure operational readiness for the pilot, b) track/ help deliver operational efficiency on all key parameters and c) ensure best customer experience in coordination with all key stakeholders like CIC, SCM, maintenance, BD, training, kitchen ops &amp; customer delight teams. Responsibilities:- As a Brand Operations Lead, you would lead the Brand Operations Parameters and continuously strive to improve brand performance. The following are few key things that would fall under your role and key responsibilities. Pre-launch: - Ensure operational readiness for Savor go-live in Powai/ Chandivali area as per target timelines by coordinating with - BD team for kitchen location identification - Procurement team for infra/capex procurement - Civil/Maintenance team for kitchen infra set up - CIC/training team for SoP preparation and training kitchen staff - SCM team for dry and wet inventory ordering and stock availability in time - CDO/ kitchen lead for setting up kitchen for go-live as per operations checklist Post-launch: - Measure brand operational parameters - Ensure 100% adherence to SOP and compliance at kitchens - Listen to the voice of the customer - verbatim of concerns and feedback - Improve Savor ratings on all platforms. Work with training and call center to drive customer delight - Work closely with Savor business head to ensure all marketing programs are executed well in kitchens - Ensure that Savor dishes are always active and there are no deactivation - Ensure review of processes and SOP's to bring in better efficiencies of operation - Track operational performance parameters and come up with action plans to enhance overall performance - Ensure seamless execution of ATL or marketing promotions in the kitchen - Ensure a seamless launch of new products in the kitchen - Drive the required change through camera audits and personal visits - Work closely with Zonal Delight Managers and Area Delight Manager to achieve expected results. - Ensure Savor's operational scale up to other existing kitchens post-product-market fit in one kitchen As an Operations Brand Lead, you would focus on Savor sales, ratings, NPS scores, Sales Loss, Customer Retention and Process Improvement.
