Designation: Real Estate Transaction Expert

Location: Gurgaon

Reporting to: Joint CEO (Realty and Social Infrastructure Division) - Advisory

Responsibilities :

- The candidate will be responsible for deal sourcing, execution and closure of transaction across a variety of Real Estate segments - Residential, Commercial, IT Park and SEZs, Retail/shopping centres, hospitality, education, etc.

- Business Development and Execution - putting together Engagement Letters with the clients, preparation of transaction documents such as Information Memos and Financial models, marketing of transaction to investors, identification of partners for the client and negotiations

- Keep seniors apprised of transaction opportunities and the market trends

- Extensive networking within India focusing on investment community, both global and domestic Institutional capital on one hand and Developers and Corporate on the other

- Provide technical inputs, analysis, conceptualize solutions, transaction documents and presentations to clients

- Identify early deal breakers in the transaction and provide innovative solutions

- Negotiating on behalf of clients and successfully close transaction

- Raise invoices and aggressive follow up for Collections

- Provide inputs for Capital Markets business plan and future direction of the Capital Markets practice

- Evaluate economic and legal risks to the firm arising out of engagements, consult and adopt suitable risk management practices

- Keep abreast of new developments in profession, business and the regulatory environment and disseminate among the team

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Education: MBA preferably in Finance

- 4-8 years of relevant experience in Real Estate, IPC, Capital Markets (Transactions only), Developers (BD/ Investment Role)

- The candidate must have done Real Estate investment.

- The candidate must have closed at least one transaction.

- A strong relationship with the real estate developer community and Institutional High Net worth (HNI) Investors would be desirable.
