Position: Zonal Business Manager - Central Zone


Location: Bihar, India


Employment Type: Full-time, On-site


Role Overview:


As the Zonal Business Manager for the Central Zone (Bihar), you will be a pivotal leader responsible for driving sales growth, operational excellence, and team performance within your designated region. You will develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand our market presence, achieve sales targets, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.


This role requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of the direct-selling landscape, and a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Sales Planning & Execution:


- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and operational plans aligned with the company's overall objectives for the Central Zone.

- Analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and conduct thorough competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.

- Establish realistic and challenging sales targets for the zone and individual sales representatives.

- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives and make necessary adjustments.


Team Leadership & Management:


- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of sales representatives within the Central Zone.

- Provide clear direction, regular feedback, and ongoing coaching to enhance individual and team performance.

- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Conduct performance reviews and implement development plans for team members.


Operational Excellence:


- Oversee all operational aspects within the Central Zone to ensure efficiency, compliance, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

- Optimize resource allocation and manage budgets effectively to maximize profitability.

- Implement and monitor processes to ensure smooth sales operations, including order processing, delivery, and customer service.


Stakeholder Relationship Management:


- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, high-value customers, and community leaders within the zone.

- Represent the company professionally and act as a point of contact for critical regional matters.

- Identify and cultivate new partnerships to expand the company's reach and influence in the Central Zone.


Customer Satisfaction & Retention:


- Champion a customer-centric approach within the zone, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and support.

- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

- Implement strategies to enhance customer loyalty and retention.


Reporting & Analysis:


- Prepare regular and accurate reports on sales performance, market trends, competitive activities, and operational highlights for senior management.

- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

- Provide insightful feedback and recommendations to contribute to overall business strategy.


Qualifications:


- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing sales strategies that drive significant revenue growth.

- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends, conduct thorough competitive analysis, and identify strategic opportunities.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in building, motivating, and developing high-performing sales teams.

- Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and influence key individuals.

- A strong focus on customer satisfaction and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

- Outstanding communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.

- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience in the direct-selling industry is highly desirable.

- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
