Razorpay - Senior Manager - Automation - Financial Operations Team (12-18 yrs)

We are currently looking to hire a Sr.Manager - Automation for our Financial Operations (FinOps) team. In this position, you will be responsible for end-to-end management and delivery of various projects involving automation of reconciliation, exceptions handling, settlement, fund management and reporting:

Key Responsibilities:

- Work in close collaboration with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, Operations Managers and other stakeholders across the business to prioritise projects for automation and improvements.

- Transform a strategic idea into a well designed change project that can be planned, organised and tracked and delivered.

- Business and process analysis to define the business needs and work with Technology and Operations colleagues to deliver a strategic solution.

- You have a strong understanding of transaction reconciliation, exceptions management, work flow based actioning, management reporting and best practices.

- Assist with the management of the automation project and ensure consistent delivery under pressure. Demonstrate strong analytical skills.

- You have a track record of scaling and optimising processes through automation. You have a good technical understanding and are able to work with Engineers and Product Managers to drive improvements

- Possess ability to define and articulate the strategic vision of a project. Set a clear agenda where teams and stakeholders understand their contribution to the future success of the organisation and are motivated to travel on the journey.

- Strong project leader who cultivates a culture of collaboration where involvement and sharing are seen as essential for the achievement of shared objectives and agendas.

- Strong communicator with flexibility to communicate effectively using the right medium across the function and build successful relationships with key stakeholders, SMEs and other functions.

- Highly resilient and resourceful, with a proven track record in engaging and influencing others to ensure project tasks are delivered per committed timelines, whilst managing team budget.

- Act as a catalyst for change and inspire confidence in stakeholders with the quality and conviction of their vision, building support and sponsorship at all levels and ensuring the need for change is embedded across the team.

- Strong presentation skills and ability to simplify and condense a large number of complex moving parts into single impact statement.

- Builds trust through credible use of facts and data and posses ability to creatively resolve problems and issues at pace.

- Ability to apply a risk lens with short term (tactical) and long term (strategic) deliverables in mind.

- Ability to quantify and drive mitigation of risk at a project level.

- Demonstrate a structured, outcome-oriented approach, with the ability to anticipate and head off problems that could jeopardize the outcome of global projects.

- Ability to recognize when a project is challenged vs plan and if required be able to escalate and develop an effective remediation plan

- Ability to think outside of the box, provide quick solutions and resolve project issues in a timely manner.

Key Skills:

- Experience at delivering change projects, system migrations, UAT and stakeholder signoff in the Cards and Payments domain.

- Ability to progress tasks independently and demonstration of resilience to setbacks.

- Ability to develop and sustain strong working relationships with Project/Program Manager and other key stakeholders

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to think outside of the box, provide quick solutions and resolve project issues in a timely manner.

Educational Qualification:

- MBA with 12+ years of work experience in domains of banking, Cards and Payments operations.

- Exposure to compliance releases, regression testing and UAT

- Thorough knowledge of interchange and settlement, chargeback operations, back office operations is a must.
