Raw Material Planner - Plant

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :

- Accountable and Responsible to ensure availability of the right raw material in TN Plant

- Collaborate with Procurement Category Teams, Supply chain & logistics, Finance & Plant Commercial teams in ensuring the Business Continuity

- Ensure the inventory norms are maintained

- Actively contribute to the Network Projects and conduct RM Space requirements to support the growth of the TN Plant / Business .

- Accountable & Responsible for Raw Material Planning, scheduling & Inventory Management

- Accountable and Responsible to develop 8 Reasons of Inventory for Raw Material for TN Plant for all Codes,

- Actively participate in Continuous Improvements initiatives in the area of Raw Material Planning related to TN Plant, Raw Material Codification Process, application to digitize standard work, Work In process movements,

Key Result Areas :

- Responsible and accountable for Raw Material Planning, Forecasting, vendor scheduling, Inventory Management, quality of process, associated with TN Plant, from more than 200 + vendors and100 + RM Codes, end to end

- Responsible and accountable for Inventory Management

- Follow ups/ co-ordinations with cross functional teams like Logistics/Finance/Plant teams

- Follow ups for shipping documentations/ verifications for custom clearance purpose

- Maintaining MIS and data record keepings

- Updating data in SAP system online and real-time

- Responsible and accountable for Inter -plant RM materials movement facilitation and control in-bound materials plan, suppliers to plant ( what goes where, when and how much ) on a continuous basis

Work Experience:

- 5 to 8 years experience in Supply Chain, preferably in the FMCG or Automotive industry.

- Good experience with Operations Planning,

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with people in variety functions with both Internal and external stakeholders.

- Strong quantitative and analytical skills

- Worked in any ERP platform for Material management

- Experience in handling both local & international vendors
