Job Description:
- Builds models in the broad areas of data mining/text mining/optimization
- Works with product engineering teams to implement these models in to products
- Simulate the impact of a client's future operational activities (sales, marketing etc.) on their future real-world results
- Solution Design, Technical and Functional requirements gathering
- Consulting on new strategies for demand generation & pricing enhancement
- Should be able to do drill down analysis of key business problems, interpret results, generate insight and recommend strategies.
- Ability to use quantitative analysis and statistical/mathematical methods to solve business problems.
- Develop strong relationships with client customers by ensuring that their needs were incorporated into requirements
- Track the overall project progress
- Responsible for continuous on-site visits for Client Servicing
- Communicates the client's goals and represent the client's interests to the team.
- Reporting the project status to stakeholders regularly
Qualifications:
- RG-PMG welcomes candidates with background in analytic and quantitative coursework, experience in data analytics and a keen interest in solving complex business problems.
- Ideal candidate shall have bachelors or master's degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or Econometrics.
- In addition candidates should have a strong academic record of analytic and quantitative work, typically demonstrated through consistent top marks in university.
- Advanced proficiency with analytic software tools such as R, SAS, Matlab, and a good understanding of the statistical algorithms .
- Excellent Communication skills- oral, written, presentation.
- Curious, disciplined, creative, self starter, independent minded, Result driven person
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions
- Strong Analytical/consulting background
- Thrives among strong colleagues
- Very good interpersonal skills, positive attitude
- Punctual to deliver the tasks on time specified.
- Good Negotiation/ People Management Skills
EXPERIENCE
- 3- 6+ years experience in business analytics consulting, strategy consulting etc.
Preference - Domain knowledge of Hospitality/Travel and experience of SaaS product management will be an added advantage
