Job Description: AVP/Sr. Manager - Sales

- The role is focused on leading the business development effort at RateGain to maximize revenue potential of RateGain's portfolio of SAAS based products.

- The role also demands generation and development of new business opportunities and delivering an integrated approach to business development framework.

- This position requires a self-starter with some level of entrepreneurial flair and ability to manage people.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Generate, develop and close sales opportunities of RateGain SaaS based solutions to B2B customers in travel vertical.

- Knowledge of travel and hospitality domain would be an added advantage.

- Good understanding of US and Europe geographies in selling software and services. Prior experience in selling products would be preferred.

- Define and drive the go - to market strategy for assigned territories.

- Achieve the assigned sales target and build a healthy sales Pipeline.

- Work with RateGain legal team in drafting, reviewing and formalizing all commercial arrangements, agreements and contracts.

- Experience of selling to C level

- Help assist and lead the marketing efforts - B2B marketing, webinars, tradeshow participation and lead generation.

- Be responsible to lead a team of 3-4 people.

Skills & Experience:

- Candidate should have minimum 9 years of B2B experience in software product sales.

- Background in selling SAAS based solutions.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong persuasive skills and ability to influence decision makers.

- Should have good experience of people management.

- Must be Proactive, self motivated and Results-driven.

Behavior:

- High level of initiative and work well in a team environment.

- Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well.

- Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction.
