We are looking to add an Art Director to our creative team. We're seeking a candidate with up-to-date knowledge to interpret our clients- objectives and needs through design. The Art Director will collaborate, concept, create and execute an assortment of graphics throughout all social media platforms for our roster of luxury hospitality brands. We are looking for someone with a strong working knowledge of marketing and a passion for the digital space. The Art Director will also be responsible for bringing fresh ideas to the table both in client work and internal processes. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Works directly with account services and copywriters to develop creative that is forward thinking and aligned with brand and digital media trends - Concept and execute design projects including: Cohesive Content Series, Instagram Stories, Seamless Carousels, Instagram Grids, Instant Experience Ads, In-Feed Animations, GIFs, and Internal Marketing Collateral, etc. - Develop a deep understanding of brand guidelines and client expectations to ensure projects are consistent and meet standards across all media outlets - Interpret direction and feedback appropriately from client services team to create thoughtful and compelling designs - Manage short-turnaround project deadlines daily while working toward long-term objectives - Actively seeks out to help define new creative possibilities in advertising and social media campaigns DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: - A degree in Graphic Design, Art or media is preferred - 6-10 years of relevant professional graphic design experience - Strong knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, IInDesign and Photoshop - Exceptional organizational and time-management skills - Ability to work in a high pressure, quick turnaround environment while thinking creatively and managing a consistent workload - Proficiency in branding, social, online marketing, and media concepts - Must be detail-oriented and an excellent problem solver - A desire to work in an exciting and demanding start-up environment
