Role Title: Chief Operating Officer

Reports To: CEO

Function/ Department: Plant Operations

- Responsible for all aspects of the Chennai operations for the plant and local market, including department GMs for Production, Quality, Purchase, Sales, Finance and HR team for all production, maintenance, quality control and safety activities and sales.

- Responsibility also included fulfilling all Statutory Compliances, fulfilling all Pre disbursement conditions required by venders(Financial Institutions),Metallurgical Operations

- Studying process and suggesting development of components with respect to metallurgical inputs. Preparing process flow chart and control plan for development components. Strengthening the existing vendor source.

- Understanding design and implementation of new product lines and ensure seamless integration

- Studying process and suggesting the development of components concerning metallurgical inputs.

- Reviewing the overall performance and identifying training necessities of all personnel

- Ensuring all legal requirements, company safety procedures, and local and state health and safety regulations are met

- Facilitating interdepartmental coordination with Engineering, QA, HR, Stores, Purchase, Marketing and Maintenance to address day-to-day cross-functional issues

- Preparing process flow chart and control plan for development components.

- Strengthening the existing vendor source.

Qualification: Experience: 15 - 20 Yrs of Experience IIT - B.Tech /M.Tech (Metallurgy)
