About the Role:

- As the Manager, Quality Assurance and Testing, you will be tasked with defining and promoting a quality

mindset across an entire company.

- Responsible for managing the quality assurance (QA) function, you will be working with developers, project managers and cross-departmental leadership to deliver world class, defect free software products on time and within budget.

- From hiring quality analysts to identifying and implementing the best quality assurance and testing tools

and systems to leading investigations into quality issues and resolving problems, the Manager, QAT, will

establish and maintain quality management systems and processes that underpin the companys current

stellar growth and development.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Responsible for defining quality assurance (QA) strategy, approach and execution for the

companys software development projects

- Responsible for hiring, inducting, training and evaluating the performance of a team of quality

analysts and testers

- Managing the allocation of quality assurance resources across multiple software development

projects and working closely with project managers and project teams

- Taking responsibility for setting and exceeding quality standards that result in the efficient

delivery of world class, defect free software products to our clients

- Providing technical leadership and expertise within the field of quality assurance and testing

- Ensuring that the development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines and best practices of

the QA strategy as defined

- Focusing on continuous QA improvements including the application of appropriate testing tools,

testing techniques, testing automation

- Building, maintaining and enforcing technical quality and testing standards

- Monitoring and documenting all the QA activities, test results, defect analysis, root cause analysis

and identifying areas of improvement then implementing steps required to improve processes

- Gather and present testing metrics, testing activities and results for all projects to key

stakeholders

- Manage training and continuous learning of QA staff and ensure all quality analysts understand

and apply the latest methodologies, processes and tools for QA and testing

- Be an escalation point for all matters related to testing and quality assurance and operate as a

primary point of contact for the QA team

- Driving and improving the QA team in areas of automated testing and agile testing

Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required:

- Quality assurance management experience across multiple, simultaneous projects

- A strong leader with experience in implementing and shaping the companys QA processes and

strategies

- Strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automated, ideally in a

software development environment

- Strong communication skills and able to ensure that the QA vision is implemented correctly and

understood by all the key stakeholders

- An advocate of quality assurance, continuous improvement, zero defects and industry recognized

best practices

- Knowledge of risk management, risk identification and risked based testing.

- Experience managing quality assurance and testing departments or testing functions

- Flexible with the ability to and work under pressure

- Proactive, strong-minded, quick thinker and assertive

- Able to motivate a team, recognize good talent and bring out the best out of each individual

- A mature and professional individual who is self-motivated and enthusiastic

- The ability to prioritize work and tasks under pressure and handle conflict effectively

- Ten years experience in quality assurance including QA leadership positions

- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related subject

- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Project Management and Analytics software (Jira preferred)

- Willingness to work across different time zones and experience of dealing with clients based

around the world

Desirable:

- Masters degree in computer science, engineering, or a related subject

- Certifications in leading-edge or primary technology areas

- Prior experience at executive level, for example Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

- Knowledge of blockchain, smart contracts and Decentralized Finance (DeFi)
