1. Direct, monitor, control and report to the top management for all manufacturing activities to ensure that they are appropriately performed and employees engaged therein are motivated and trained to carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.

2. Development and implementation of SOP for manufacturing activities to ensure that all departmental functions operate smoothly as per the system and procedure.

3. Ensure that the team complies with organizational policies and procedures at all times through motivation, persuasion and providing clear directions and solutions whenever required.

4. To direct and control ISO compliance activities, utilities like water, electricity, compressed air, worker safety, workman compensation and estate management, statutory compliances related to labor laws, pollution control, factories act and other statutory requirements.

5. To establish reporting system in Manufacturing Dept and increase the level of accountability and responsibility of your immediate juniors and Supervisors.

6. To formulate, recommend and implement World Class Manufacturing Practices that guides the organization to improve its competitiveness and profitability of the operations.

7. Lead, direct and control the production function to ensure that finished goods of the required standards are available to customers within agreed costs and at the right times.

8. Lead, Direct and control the purchasing function to ensure that the company has all the resources required for production purposes within agreed costs and quality standards and at the right times.

9. Lead, direct and control the design, production and logistics functions to ensure that customers are supplied with the right product at agreed time and of quality that matches with agreed scope of supply and performance specifications.

10. Develop all necessary policies; procedures to ensure that the operations are made system driven rather than individually driven and a safe and healthy working environment is maintained at all company sites.

11. To monitor effective utilization of man power - machines and material.

12. Develop and control the annual operative plan and budget in consultation with Sales and members of the Management Committee, for the operations considering available resources and meet the production goals and other objectives within agreed financial parameters.

13. To control and monitor cost-effective utilization of material and man power.

14. Endeavour to build on effective, motivated and delivery oriented team and will be responsible for driving optimum productivity, performance, quality, technical development with teams / processes.

15. To continuously evaluate and implement wherever possible, the reduction in the cost of in-house manufactured and outsourced items without sacrificing the quality, durability, dependability and workmanship.

16. Leverage the existing quality measurement tools to measure and analyze quality standards and drive process improvements with the aim of consistently improving existing quality levels.

17. Ensure that the team complies with organizational policies and procedures at all times through motivation, persuasion and providing clear directions and solutions whenever required.

18. Be actively involved in building a culture focused on high performing, motivated and productive employees.

19. Ensure an efficient and quality oriented functioning of teams through effective planning, leadership, control and organization.

20. Ensure effective coordination in recruitment, selection, training and motivation of new recruits.

21. Provide inputs to HR team for various need based training programs, formulation of production incentive schemes and reward and recognition programs. Also coordinate with HR team for KPI setting and performance appraisals.

22. Ensure proper reporting system, MIS and regular monitoring of the same.

23. Maintain an effective working relationship with all superiors and sub-ordinates colleagues to ensure that there is effective coordination of all operational activities enhancing corporate objectives.

24. Act as the company's main adviser on all issues relating to operational functions and keep abreast of latest developments to ensure that the company maintains its competitive position.

25. To control and monitor quality of manufactured and assembled components in specific and overall machine in General.

26. To lead, guide and motivate all departments and a team of managers, engineers and Staff reporting to this position.

27. To up-grade and improve production techniques constantly.

28. To co-ordinate with organization's ancillary unit and suppliers.
