Job Title/Position : Manager (Legal)


Department : Rain Legal Department


Reporting to : GM - Legal H.O.- Hyderabad


Job Profile / Duties and Responsibilities :


KPIs :


- To deal with power / electricity matters in India and matters related thereto.


- Hands on Experience in Foreign Trade Policy, DGFT, SEZ related matters, Mining Law - MMDR Act and procedure.


- Experience in dealing with Civil, Criminal laws and other allied matters


Other Responsibilities Assist GM Legal on all matters relating Rain group as follows :


- In regular correspondences with statutory authorities and others.


- In drafting various agreements with suppliers, contractors and others.


- Reviewing and advising purchase departments of RCCVL and RCL on the inclusion of various terms and conditions in purchase and service orders.


- Regular follow up with our Advocates for the various cases pending before the High Courts and Supreme Courts and other judicial or quasi-judicial bodies.


Contract Administration :


- Assist GM - Legal in advising for ensuring compliance with, the Company's Contracting Procedures (including use of the Company's standard terms and conditions for various business transactions).


- Assist GM - Legal in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of business operations contracts, including (but not limited to) contracts relating to : direct procurement (i.e., purchase of raw materials from suppliers),indirect procurement (i.e., purchase of goods and services from vendors), finished product sale contracts to customers ,logistics and/or transportation agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.


- Property related


Legal Compliance :


- Assisting the Legal head in day-to-day work relating to Legal matters concerning the Company.


Person Profile :


Required qualification :


- Bachelor of Law degree from a recognized university in India


- Ability to quickly and efficiently become familiar with the Company's required legal compliance, contracts, and corporate governance framework.


Length of overall experience : 10 years relevant Law firm or in-house experience representing companies in India.

Functional / Technical Skills :


Skills must for the Job : Legal Compliance Supporting the Company's in house legal team in advising other departments on legal issues and to coordinate with counsels for effective disposal of cases including compliance with the Company's policies and procedures relating to third party risk management, anti-bribery / anti-corruption laws, trade-sanctions programs and anti-trust laws.


Soft Skills :


- Skills must for the Job Working Knowledge of MS Office and teams etc.


- Should be a team player


- Good Communication Skills
