Role :

As a software Development manager, you will be expected to manage a team of software Engineers, QA and DevOps and lead product development initiatives in a systematic fashion.

You should be a hands-on person and should have a sound understanding of the entire tech stack that the team works on, even though you will not be expected to act as an individual contributor.

It is a role where a mix of Software development and Software management skills will be expected to put in practice.

You should be able to apply thought experiments to work to increase the throughput, meet deadlines, increase quality and should always be on the lookout for innovative ideas that scale the performance of the teams.

What You Will Do :

- Interact with Senior leadership; able to drive strategic initiatives to closure and hold the group accountable.

- Lead the effective and efficient delivery of the large, complex strategic objectives.

- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.

- Excellent in Reporting at Daily/Weekly/Fortnightly cadence to different stakeholders (Senior Management/Executive Leadership)

- Strong familiarity with agile methodologies.

- Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.

- Drive Meetings, Agenda, Outcome of meetings

- Create, maintain and disseminate project information to stakeholders.

- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.

- Experience in SAAS products/Distributed Systems/Security Domains is a MUST

- Excellent people management skills.

- Team building and team development skills.

What You Should Bring:

Qualifications:

- Education :BE/MS/M. Tech/MCS/MCS from reputed universities with excellent records

- At least 8 years of SAAS software development experience.

- Out of which, at least 5 years of experience managing Software Development teams in a SAAS organization with Agile Scrum methodologies

Skills

- Project management, AGILE, SAAS, Scrum certification will be and added advantage

- Tech stack : Full stack : HTML/CSS/Javascript, AngularJS, Java/J2EE, REST

- Build : GIT, Maven, Gradle

- Databases : SQL, No-SQL

- Cloud : AWS

- CI/CD : Sound understanding of Devops practices, Jenkins, containerization using Docker
