RadioLocus is an innovative technology start-up which aims to digitize the real physical world. Your knowledge of machine learning and statistical learning will help in solving some of the toughest problems faced due to complexity in wireless sensor networks, representation of indoor locations, processing of large data efficiently, generating insights, and high availability of large scale systems. We are looking to expand our team based in Mumbai, and want to hire someone passionate about generating insight and monetizing data. We are a fast growing company with a very young and vibrant team.

Desired Skills and Experience:

- Masters or Ph.D. degree in a Statistics, Mathematics or a highly numerate discipline or Bachelors with 2 yrs of relevant experience.

- Very strong mathematical and statistical skills with a passion for the development and implementation of new algorithms.

- A strong track record and demonstrable interest in mining and analysing data, looking for stories, patterns, trends and insights.

- Skilled in working with large and complex datasets with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

- Strong programming skills in at least one high level language such as R, Python or Matlab.

- Expertise in machine learning methods including Time series analysis, State-space models, Mixed-effect models, Longitudinal data analysis, Hierarchical Bayes; and Learning techniques such as Decision Trees, Boosting, Random Forests.

- Develop hypotheses, design experiments, collaborate with engineering team on implementing the A/B tests, and evaluate their performance

- Proven achievements resulting from data analysis and ability to succeed in both collaborative and independent work environments

- Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams

- Comfortable manipulating and analysing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources.

- Answer complex business questions by using appropriate statistical techniques on available data or designing and running experiments to gather data.

Good to Have but not Necessary:

- Experience with HDFS based data pipeline.
