Quality Auditor - Fintech
Responsibilities:
Audit Planning and Execution:
- Plan and execute internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls and compliance with relevant regulations (e., PCI DSS, GDPR, AML, KYC).
- Conduct audits of financial transactions, operational processes, and technology systems.
- Document audit findings, including identified risks and recommendations for corrective actions.
Compliance Monitoring:
- Monitor adherence to internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in Fintech regulations and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance-related matters.
Risk Assessment:
- Identify and assess potential risks related to financial transactions, data security, and operational processes.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a risk management framework.
Process Improvement:
- Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend and implement process changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure that processes are documented and updated regularly.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Maintain accurate and organized audit documentation.
- Present audit findings to management and relevant stakeholders.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with various departments to ensure compliance and address audit findings.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Work with technology teams to audit system controls.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in quality auditing, preferably in the Fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of Fintech regulations and compliance requirements (e., PCI DSS, GDPR, AML, KYC).
- Experience conducting financial, operational, and technology audits.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using audit software and tools.
- Strong understanding of financial processes.
- Experience auditing within an agile environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Relevant certifications (e., CIA, CISA, CRCM).
- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of ISO standards.
- Experience with auditing automated financial systems.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA in Finance is required.
