Qualification:
CA (Chartered Accountant) qualified or semi-qualified with relevant experience in finance management.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for both US and Indian operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Analyse financial results and provide actionable insights to senior management for business decision-making.
- Ensure that financial statements comply with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS).
Accounting & Compliance:
- Oversee and manage accounting operations for both US and Indian entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, including preparation of tax filings (e.g., GST, TDS, Income Tax for Indian operations, and Federal, State tax for US operations).
- Maintain internal controls and ensure accuracy in financial reporting and documentation.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits in both the US and India.
Financial Planning & Budgeting:
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for both the US and Indian businesses.
- Monitor budget performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Support long-term financial planning and cash flow management for the US and India operations.
Cross-border Financial Management:
- Manage currency conversion issues, exchange rate risks, and financial transactions between the US and India.
- Ensure efficient fund transfer and management across both regions to optimize liquidity.
- Oversee transfer pricing arrangements between the US and Indian entities and ensure compliance with international tax laws.
Team Management & Coordination:
- Lead and supervise accounting teams in both the US and India.
- Foster a collaborative work environment between US and Indian finance teams.
- Provide training and professional development to junior accounting staff.
Strategic Financial Guidance:
- Advise senior management on financial implications of business strategies, expansions, and investments in both the US and Indian markets.
- Provide strategic insights regarding tax planning and optimization strategies for both countries.
Regulatory & Legal Compliance:
- Ensure timely filing of all statutory and regulatory compliance documents in both countries.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements in both the US and India.
