Position / Title: Financial Controller

Job Description :

Global role managing the Controllership, defining process and controls, Governance mechanism, IT projects covering the parent and international subsidiaries

- Preference would be given to candidates who had prior exposure in preparing the company for public listing

- Review timely monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements under multiple GAAPs - USGAAP/SFRS/Ind GAAP/IndAS/others

- Support M&A, entity restructuring and integration

- Lead IT projects to take finance function to next level

- Drive good corporate governance practices across the organization, anticipate areas of business risk and identify and take appropriate risk mitigation initiatives

- Review/Overview of all accounting operations - Revenue accounting/P2P/O2C/cost accounting/Intercompany/Assets.

- Develop and maintain finance & accounting policies in alignment with statutory requirements

- Direct the preparation of variance reports/ARP and handle quarterly/annual statutory audits

- Through the review process, perform data analytics and present the findings to management to enable decision making and comfort on numbers

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Additional controller duties as necessary

- Ensure that appropriate checks & balances are inculcated in the organization structure and processes

- Train and coach SSC team on accounting standards, controls, and good governance practices

Skills & Experience :

- Experience with MS Excel, Word, and PPT

- Very organized and punctual

- Detail oriented

- Oral & Written communication skills

- Experience in leading projects, co-ordinating with cross functional teams and resolving issues with consensus

- Experience working with a Global remote team

Education :

- CA with 12-18 yrs of experience
