We are a Mumbai-based family office focused on equity investments following a fundamental bottoms-up, value investment strategy. We are in the process of building out a team to focus on a quantitative/statistical investment strategy to supplement our fundamental investing strategy. Job Role - Develop and conduct quantitative finance research with a focus on statistical and predictive models - Conceptualize, design and implement quantitative strategies across asset classes - Collaborate closely with industry experts to develop analytics for various aspects of a quantitative research processes like data processing, signal generation, algorithm development and back testing - Build analytics for risk, performance and environment analysis of portfolios - Manage different aspects of the research process including methodology selection, data collection and analysis, prototyping, back testing and trading simulations Qualifications - Post-grad qualification from a top tier university in applied mathematics, statistics or other quantitative disciplines - Experience in using some or all of the following packages: R, Python, MATLAB, SQL, C# .Net, C++, Excel, VBA - Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research utilizing large datasets - Previous experience with algorithmic trading platforms is an advantage but not necessary - 2-4 years of relevant professional experience - CFA designation is a plus - Strong logical &amp; quantitative aptitude
