Senior Business Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Finance function at the Clinical Research Organisation (CRO), Quanticate. The main function of this role with be to assist in the development and preparation of the company's quote model.

Your core responsibilities will be to :

- Develop the next generation of Quanticate's Consolidated Quote Model (CQM)

- Develop Ms Project Online reports

- Continually maintain the CQM and Ms Project Online reports and ensure it accurately reflects the company's pricing strategy and provide supporting information to Project Management Group

- Continually maintain the CQM and Ms Project reports and ensure it accurately reflects the company's operational standards by collecting and analyzing information from time sheeting systems

- Prepare analytical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends that affect the standards that drive the CQM

- Develop a working relationship with Operational staff who are responsible for producing quotes and manage projects

- Produce full CQM and Ms Project Online reporting user guides and keep them up-to-date

- Train Operational staff as required in the use of the CQM and Ms Project Online reports

- Recommend suitable controls and processes for ensuring the proper use of the CQM and the production of quotes and Ms Project Online reports

- Maintain professional and technical Excel knowledge including Power Query at all times

- Carry out ad hoc duties as required in support of the EVP, Head of Corporate Planning and Resourcing and the EVP, CFO

Person Specification :

In order to be considered for this role, you will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes :

- Educated to Business Degree level

- Qualified/Part qualified CIMA preferable

- Extensive previous experience in a Business Analyst or Management Accounting role

- Highly developed Excel knowledge including Power Query

- Can demonstrate previous experience of building Excel based business models

- Excellent spoken and written English

- Good communication skills

The Finance Group :

The Finance function provides a service to the rest of the organisation and is the owner of all financial related information. It operates closely with HR in ensuring that salaries and benefits are managed and paid to staff on time, and also operates closely with operations and BD to ensure that projects are costed properly, reported upon and managed financially. The Finance Administrator is a key role in supporting the business and supporting the project management application and the accounting function.
