Quant Trader - Vega Trading

Looking forward for a suitable candidate for the position of Quant Trader - Global Markets for Vega Trading Purpose.

Job Description:-

- Looking for a Quant Trader to join the Vega Trading desk. The candidate will join an existing team of derivatives traders and work alongside to help improve the desk's performance.

- Structuring, pricing and trading/hedging exotic options and eventually do all of these independently

- Gradually run own trading book, take ownership of risk and PnL

- Perform statistical analysis of historical and current financial market data

- Generate options trading strategies, validate them with data crunching and pitch them to traders

- Develop and maintain opportunity trackers and position monitors in the equity derivatives space

- Coordinating with Risk and Mid office teams for day to day desk activities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in statistics, finance, engineering, mathematics, physics, computational finance from tier-1 institute

Experience 1-4 Years

- Functional Competencies Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills

- Hands on experience of coding in Python and/or R required

- Excellent MS Office skills with a strong focus on automation, knowledge of Excel VBA is highly preferred
