Quality Leader-New Product Development

Role :

Establish plan for development, deployment and monitor execution of QA activities & system comprising of Early involvement that includes Drawing feedback, Design FEMA, System Requirement assessment, Design Verification, Benchmarking, deployment of SC/CCs, SPR Process, PPAP approval with SPTR assessment at Run @ Rate capacity. Plan and execute programmed projects for meeting Internal and External customer expectations / requirements.

Responsibilities :

- Usage of past product problems ( TGW, Field complaint, warranty, AQI,FQI, PPFRs) learning converted as design inputs, through DFB, FMEA inputs, SRS feedbacks, etc.,

- Incorporate product & process benchmarking improvement into NPD program

- Early involvement & providing valuable inputs through drawing feedback, DFMEA participation at system, sub system and part level. SC/CC deployment plan.

- Ensure development of adequate DVP and its adherence. Closure of ETR / ETL NCs.

- Deployment of Supplier process readiness requirements, feedback and closure of gap actions

- Assess significant Production trial run @ planned run rate.

- Involve and participate for problem solving process at product level as part of NPD progression

PREFERRED SKILL SET AND EXPERIENCE :

- BE Mechanical with 10+ years' experience in NPD / QAD, at least 2+ years in dealing with proprietary parts handled in his / her previous / current role.

- Prop parts like Fork assy, Shock absorber, Gaskets, Brake system parts - brake caliper, disc & master cylinder, brake cable, etc. Engine system - Piston assy, CVT, pumps etc., Fuel system - Fuel tank cap, canister assy. Lock set, etc.,

- Well versed in skill sets : APQP, Design & Process FMEAs, SPC, PPAP, problem solving techniques( QC story / 8D problem solving). Good exposure in IATF 16969 & SAP.

- Six sigma certification would be added advantage ( GB / BB certification)
