Background :
- QCI was set up by the Government of India jointly with the Indian Industry represented by the three premier industry associations i.e. Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), to establish and operate a national accreditation structure and promote quality through National Quality Campaign.
- The Project Analysis and Documentation Division at QCI currently handles numerous voluntary certification schemes cutting across various sectors, ranging from Agriculture, Food, Healthcare, Industry, Regulators, and Personnel Competence.
Roles and Responsibilities:
To build up a work class institution in area of program and project management. It includes vision, mission, objective, goals, planning, execution, governance, ethical working & successful delivery
2. To provide strategic direction to ensure achieving program goals and objectives
3. To have the initiative and drive to build up a vibrant team
4. To identify similar reputed institutions across the globe and tie up with them for benchmarking and use of best practices
5. To develop dynamic relationship with government, industry, experts & academicians.
6. Financial management including budget formulation audit and supervision of revenue/expenditure
