Job Description :


- The role shall involve performing analysis on the feasibility of various ideas from strategic-financial perspective as and when required by the Department and produce ready reports for senior officials' decision-making.

- To structure the stock market transactions in compliance with the prevailing framework and regulations/guidelines/norms of SEBI, Stock Exchanges,Companies Acts etc.;

- To look into the potential feasibility of the transactions through demand analysis and aspects influencing demand;

- Prepare Research reports or notes on growth potential of companies;

- Compilation of financial and operational data of the CPSEs/subsidiaries/JVs/ et al.

- Undertake valuation of companies, if required

- Make presentations for senior officials' decision making

- To assist senior officials in the execution of transactions

- Monitoring of various transactions being carried out including tracking progress, debottlenecking, stakeholder follow-ups.

Academic Requirements :

- Graduation in Economics/Accountancy/Finance or similar fields with minimum 1 year of experience

- Post-Graduation in Economics/ MBA (Finance) or equivalent fields or professionals from CA/ICWAI/CFA background will be preferred

Professional Requirements:

- Professional experience in financial/capital markets across buy/sell side

- Experience in handling IPOs/Mergers & Acquisition/FPO/ETFs is strongly desired

- Knowledge of equity valuations and basic financial accountancy

- Well versed with financial databases and softwares, such as Bloomberg, Reuters etc.

- Excellent analytical and numerical skills

- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work with all levels of the organization

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Exposure to government projects will be a plus
