Quality Council of India - Analyst - Research & Public Policy - Government Institution

Responsibilities:

1. Working with the team to build a roadmap to reimagine and revamp the working of a prominent government department.

2. Conducting a comprehensive review of various sub-units under the purview of the said department and building a strategic plan to augment the efficacy of each sub-unit.

3. Developing a plan to align all units to the larger national vision, and ensure coherence in their functioning.

4. Conducting primary and secondary research, budget analysis, meetings, and interviews with domain experts and stakeholders.

5. Developing notes, white papers, and reports with key findings, analyses, and recommendations.

6. Leading independent engagements with senior bureaucrats and officials.

7. Ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the project.

Skills and Requirements :

1. Minimum bachelor's degree from a tier 1 university, Masters will be a plus.

2. Experience of 1-4 years in the research and policy domain, exposure to government projects will be a plus.

3. Having knowledge or interest in the art and culture sector will be an advantage.

4. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully interact with different stakeholders and senior government officials.

5. Superior research and writing skill are required, with the ability to meet deadlines.

6. Ability to problems solving, critical thinking, and in-depth examination.

7. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

8. Excellent time management skills.

9. Strong oral communication skills.

10. Should be open to intra and intercity travel, as per the requirement.
