The Firm wide Regulatory Reporting & Analysis (FRRA) team is part of Corporate Finance and has end-to-end responsibility for US regulatory reporting and capital stress testing, including the design, implementation, and oversight of report production and validation activities. Its mandate includes determining the appropriate investment in people, processes and technology to improve the accuracy, completeness and consistency of the Firm's US regulatory reporting and capital stress testing submissions, as well as the implementation of new requirements and guidelines as they are published.

The objective of the Quality Assurance Team is to provide independent review and validation of external reporting processes and data to mitigate the risk of external reporting errors. Continued expansion and development of the Quality Assurance program is a critical priority of senior finance management to continually improve report integrity through identification of data issues and control weaknesses.

Quality Assurance Team (Data Integrity)

A role on the Quality Assurance (QA) team will require involvement in external reporting quality assurance processes. The role will be responsible for the following:

- Participating in QA reviews from end to end, including developing testing strategies, executing testing, and analyzing results

- Assisting in the review of key systems and process flows to identify which elements are critical to downstream reporting

- Analyzing the source data used in the production of external reporting

- Assisting in mapping processes and developing corresponding testing strategies

- Executing data integrity testing on critical data elements (key data sources back to source documentation)

- Liaising with business contacts to request documentation and to gain clarification;

- Identifying, escalating, and reporting testing exceptions and themes for further review, root cause analysis and remediation

- Communicating findings to management and assisting in developing action plans to facilitate timely escalation and resolution

- Maintaining awareness of evolving industry and regulatory changes

Candidate requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

- Financial reporting or Audit experience would be preferred

- Knowledge of US Regulatory and SEC reporting requirements, external reporting control concepts

- Ability to review processes, data flows, analyze source data, develop & complete QA testing

- Detail oriented to review & test various data elements

- Excellent desktop/spreadsheet/database s and data analytics skills

- Ability to understand various content and material with limited training

- Produce auditable working papers to support conclusions

- Willingness to work in UK shift & extended UK shift Timings (e.g. upto 12am or 1am)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to multi-task in a constantly changing environment

- Self motivated individual who is able to partner with stakeholder and identify opportunities for efficiently executing on deliverables.

- Ability to build and maintain partnerships within the various product aligned business personnel, controller and operations teams
