Quality Assurance Role - General Accounting - Bank (9-20 yrs)

Opportunity with leading MNC Bank for QA in General Accounting roles


Shift timing: 9.00PM - 6.00AM IST

Skills: Should be a Quality control/Quality Assurance in AP/AR/OTC/RTR/Cash reconciliation/Bank reconciliation or Loan operation/Loan syndication/Loan origination

Team handling is a must.

About the Role :

- Manages and directs the activities of the Quality Assurance staff to ensure that Company operations remains in compliance with all supporting systems as per regulations. Also determines objectives, strategies, systems and procedures for the QA department.


- In addition, monitors compliance and business needs with appropriate departments to ensure operational objectives are met. Should have knowledge of Lending operations (Booking & Funding, Loan/lease processing, General Accounting/treasury billing, reconciliation, remittance processing)

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Oversees, manages, and ensures the successful day-to-day operations of QA

- Work with the ops group to ensure the Booking & funding, Cash Mgmt, Loan Servicing, Loan ops processes is robust and continually seek ways to improve the process both in terms of effort expended, timeliness, and quality of work

- Ensure the timely review of records, SOPs, investigations, corrective actions, change controls and technical documents.

- will also interface with ops group/department to ensure clear and open communication is maintained when intermediate levels of escalation are required. Will also be required to ensure quality and compliance are maintained in the face of challenges to internal decision making, and to be able to effectively communicate and work with ops group to resolve any disagreements that arise in this regard.

- Documents quality issues and performance measures for management review.

- Analyze, interpret, and communicate qualitative and quantitative findings from tests

- First point of escalation to resolve issues

Essential Qualifications:

- Should have a Bachelor's degree or higher (MBA/MA/MCOM)

- Candidate should have good knowledge of finance concepts

- Minimum of 3 year extensive experience in Quality Monitoring/Assurance and overall 9+ yrs of exp Banking; Risk Management;

- Should have been managing team for 5 years

- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills

- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills

- Able to collaborate, build relationships, and gain buy-in with a diverse group of business partners and team members on a variety of projects and varying timelines

- Proficient in MS Office; Excel, Word, Powerpoint

- Very good oral and written communication skills

- Experience implementing defined business objectives

- Problem analysis and resolution skills
