QikPod (a brand of LeapMile Pvt.Ltd.) is an innovative, new-to- India product and service.

QikPod is a smart, cloud-enabled, IoT start-up that intersects with e-Commerce and logistics. It is a network of smart, automated parcel lockers that allow the unattended delivery and pick up of e-commerce and other parcels.

The consumer does not have to be home or in the office to receive parcels from the courier delivery persons as they will be delivering into a smart locker and consumer later picks up the parcel at their preferred time. This asynchronous delivery and pick up offers tremendous user/customer convenience, security & safety in the courier/delivery process, and substantial cost savings to couriers & e-commerce companies.

- The network is being built out across a host of high-traffic locations in office parks, residential complexes, retail locations, transport hubs (stations), education institutions etc. There are already about 300 fully operational lockers across 150+ locations in Bangalore and more than 11,000 parcels have been successfully delivered into lockers. In the fully built out state there will be in excess of 10,000 locations in the network across all metros, and Tier 1 & 2 cities. We have funding commitments from leading VCs and other very high profile, nationally recognized angel investors and leading e-commerce/logistics companies.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Own End to End Product & Responsibility for Product features, Roadmap & Experience

2. Identify typical and alternate customer use cases and conceptualize and launch features/functionality to support them

3. Collaborate in a cross-functional team composed of software developers/engineering, UI/UX, Business Development, Hardware Engineering/Industrial Design/Manufacturing, and Finance/Procurement.

4. Launch native & web-apps for end consumers as well as customized ones for logistics/delivery and other partners on the Play Store and privately.

5. Perform competitor analysis and benchmarking

6. Own all existing partnerships with other companies in related domains and those offering complementary services. These partners will include both B2B (logistics & e-commerce companies) and B2C (offering consumer services such as laundry, dry-cleaning, delivery to the doorstep partners, omni-channel retailers/enablers) companies.

7. Understanding the strategic fit with partners, negotiating terms, and executing/developing joint technical and market/consumer facing solutions.

8. Working with logistics operations to ensure smooth delivery of parcels through lockers and trouble shoot in collaboration with partners as required.

9. Emphasis on the need to drive partner integrations at multiple levels including product/APIs, process and business aspects.

Requirements:

1. Education: B.S. Computer Science

2. 5+ years in software engineering of which 2.5 years at least in product management roles

3. Product management in a B2C company/role preferred.
