Business Development Manager


Key Responsibilities:


Business Development & Sales:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, cold outreach, networking, and partnerships.

- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through CRM tools and lead generation strategies.

- Conduct meetings, demos, and presentations to pitch products/services to potential clients.

- Close deals and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and signing.

Client Relationship Management:

- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions.

- Ensure a smooth handover to the delivery/account management teams and maintain periodic follow-ups.

Strategy & Market Intelligence:

- Analyze industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align offerings with market needs.

- Contribute to the development of go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales playbooks.

Reporting & Forecasting:

- Maintain accurate sales data and regularly update CRM systems.

- Provide regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior leadership.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 5 to 12 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.

- Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, consultative selling, and solution-based selling.

- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to build rapport quickly and influence key stakeholders.

- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) and sales analytics platforms.

- Strategic thinker with a goal-oriented, metrics-driven mindset.

- Bachelors/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
