PwC- Public Health IT Expert- E-Governance- Senior Consultant/Manager The proposed role requires a candidate with relevant experience of working in the public health domain. The candidate should have experience of working with Center/State Health Government departments/ development agencies/donor organizations in the design and implementation of public health e-Government and IT projects. The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, who not only enjoys the challenge of working with other team members but externally with a diverse, senior-Government official across varied Ministries and PSUs. Recent experience and deep understanding of the Indian government ecosystem and government initiatives is a must. Roles &amp; Responsibilities -&nbsp; - Manage and deliver public health IT projects end to end - Work with government health departments/multi-lateral agencies in undertaking public health IT initiatives to optimize the government processes, service delivery model and improve healthcare outcomes. - Analyze functional and IT requirements to identify information, procedures and decision flow. - Requirement gathering, As-Is Analysis for Healthcare IT systems. - Processes re-design; prototype potential solutions, provide trade-off information and suggest a recommended course of action. - Develop implementation methodology and plan for implementing digital healthcare initiatives by Central/State Governments - Analysis of technology interventions planned for government departments and ministries. - Identify, recommend and design new processes and organizational structures and active role in implementing new processes and organizational changes in government agencies. - Working on DPR (Detailed Project Report) preparation - Preparation of RFP and conducting end to end bid process management - Assume healthcare IT expert role on project teams; manage and ensure successful delivery of assigned project tasks and provide guidance to more junior team members. - Proficient in writing plans, reports and other administration activities. - Perform other related duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by line managers - Driving PwC SME's to assist in the deliverables and ensuring subject understanding for smooth delivery - Support team to develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations - Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and subcontractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work - Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project. Educational Qualifications: - Post-Graduation: MBA/Post Graduation in Public Health/MCA/MSc (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics) - Graduation: BE/BTech(Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics) Work Experience: - The candidate should possess post-qualification relevant work experience of 10 years (for Manager Level) and 5 years (for Senior Consultant level) of working in Consulting firms - Extensive experience in working on public health IT projects in India - Deep understanding of Indian public healthcare IT ecosystem - Experience in delivering large scale projects and experience of working with Central/State Health Departments/development partners/donor agencies - Extensive knowledge of the government processes and IT ecosystem - International experience of working on a public healthcare IT assignments is a plus. Required Skill Sets: - Deep understanding of the Indian digital health initiatives and healthcare data standards - Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail is a must - Experience of working in large teams with diverse backgrounds
