A successful candidate will be expected to work pro-actively and effectively on multiple client engagements over the period and take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with. - The candidate should strong interpersonal skills, who not only enjoys the challenge of working with other team members but externally with a diverse, senior-Government officials across varied Ministries and PSUs. Recent experience and understanding of the Indian business ecosystem and government initiatives is a must. - The candidate should be capable of designing IT infrastructure services, enable innovation and leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the organizations requirements and expectations. Develop strategic direction and leadership for the IT infrastructure team, set KRAs, priorities, coordinating projects and activities according to business priorities and alignment. - The candidate will be required to showcase excellent communication skills and will have demonstrated consistently the skill and capability in delivering impactful and insightful projects in the past. He/she will also be required to participate in client meetings and, during the course of a project, will be responsive to client enquiries, eventually leading the delivery engagement. - They will also be expected to contribute to Practice or Firm development. This may be adjudged in various ways such as serving as a mentor to other team members, by leading training/development initiatives, contributing to thought leadership papers, assisting other network firms etc. - Positions are with PwC's Government and Public Service (G&amp;PS) practice, which works with Central &amp; State Governments, PSUs, donor agencies etc. The position can be based in Gurgaon. However, the ideal candidate should not have any constraints to travel for work related opportunities, whether domestic or internationally. Roles &amp; Responsibilities: - Provide infrastructure services vision, enable innovation and leverage IT trends that can create business value. - Develop strategic direction and leadership for the IT infrastructure and lead technology initiatives for technology infrastructure setup - As-Is assessment and analysis of the current IT Infrastructure &amp; the hosted Applications - Formulation of Data centre Architecture &amp; design - Devising Strategy for overall Data centre Expansion &amp; Transformation - Drafting the Data centre Migration Approach &amp; Application move groups - Refresh strategy for end of life assets - Formulating the SLAs in the transformed end state - Strategizing the Managed Services &amp; Run operations - Advising in RFP formulation for implementation vendors - Provide recommendations on the clients Data centre target end state - Assessment of existing data centre assets in terms of standardization, consolidation and virtualization - Development of service delivery model for data centre services - Delivery of Projects a. Ensure Successful client delivery within Time and Budget meeting Pwc quality standards b. Assist with advising teams on the best use of project management disciplines and approaches and act as the first point of contact for any program management queries. c. Develop positive relationships with teams to enable the team to provide support including facilitation, tracking and reporting on projects and training. d. Share lessons learned and best practices across programs, building relationships with stakeholders and good relationships at all levels. e. Identify opportunities that maybe be strategic and viable for the PwC - Conduct regular knowledge sharing sessions on the latest Data Center technologies Educational Qualifications: - Post-Graduation: MBA - Graduation: BE/BTech/MCA/MSc (Computer Science/ Information Technology) Certifications At least one certifications in below list is recommended - Certified Data Centre Professional(CDCP), - ISO20000 Lead Auditor - Cloud Platform &amp; Infrastructure Certification from any one of the leading Cloud service providers - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - Data Centre Energy Management Having the following certification will be an added advantage: - PMP/Prince-2 - TOGAF - ITIL - COBIT - Six Sigma/Black Belt Skills: Candidate should possess following skills: - Evaluation of latest technologies for Power, Cooling, and Physical infrastructure - In depth understanding of IT application landscape to select most appropriate solution or compute, storage etc - Should have done projects including Data centre &amp; Cloud Transformation, Data centre Consolidation &amp; Migration, Managed Services &amp; Run Operations Planning, ICT strategy roadmap design - Should have presented strong business Case &amp; commercial modeling of IT Infrastructure Services, Data Centre IT design, compliant to TIA942 &amp; UPTIME standards - In-depth knowledge (Expert level) of Data Centre TIERs such as TIER1 to TIER4, Rated 1 to Rated 4 etc. and their requirements while designing the Data Centres of desired standard - In-depth understanding of Virtualization, Software defined Data Centre Technologies for Compute, Storage and Networks - Cloud design Solution Architect (Public cloud, Private Cloud, Government Community Cloud) - Should have prepared DC/DR strategy, operational plan aligned to ITIL and ISO20000 &amp; ISO27000 aligned processes. - Should have involved and completed Data Centre Certifications such as TIER 3, TIER 4 and ISO20K, ISO27K - Ensure comprehensive failover, disaster recovery architecture is maintained and compliance with required RPOs and RTOs during business continuity events (emphasizing but not limited to storage area networks and redundant, highly-available server and secure network architectures). - Achieve high levels of service availability and performance through the implementation of infrastructure architecture, tools, automation, and processes. - Defining SLAs for IT Infrastructure elements - Should have managed end to end IT infrastructure and telecommunications network, IT operations / service delivery, IT budget and procurement, vendor management and technical team management with 24x7 uptime and availability of production mission critical, customer facing services deployed in a hybrid architecture. - Should have managed capacity planning, budgeting for large scale IT projects - Implementation of Cloud based services, ITIL processes, ISO20000-1:2011 and ISO27000:2005 in Date centres - Implementation of integrated Data Center Security and Infrastructure management systems Work Experience - Minimum 5-8+ years of cumulative experience in technology, consulting, program management roles - Experience in programs involving extensive communication and coordination with stakeholders - Previous experience with e-governance/e-government reporting project formulation. - Experience in Project Planning and Implementation, evaluation and assessment of Project plans - Experience in drafting reports, and working with Government institutions.
